Information

Adding seasonal events or overlays to an entertainment facility is nothing new. Say, a Halloween party at an FEC or spooky mini-golf at your course. However, this session will teach attendees not only why and how to create an event but will build ideas for events with a "Twist." Instead of a Halloween party at the mini-golf course, let's make it a Halloween dog party complete with a doggie costume contest and treats for the furry friends. Not just a spring break party at the bounce house...but a wizard-themed party full of magic, smoking drinks, costumes and games all young warlocks. Adding a twist to your seasonal events will make them unique, bring in specific niche audiences, stand apart from other facilities, create social and press opportunities, and make your event more marketable and profitable.

Laura Kilpatrick and Ernest Corder of Redroc Austin and FearWorm Hauntvertising have helped produce and market thousands of events in all types of facilities. Come away from this session with the why, how and what to produce seasonal events as well as a practical workshop to help you build ideas for your own facility.
