Tianyu Arts & Culture to Make IAAPA Expo Debut Following Record U.S. Growth
Leading lantern festival producer brings authentic craftsmanship to IAAPA Expo
ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., North America’s premier producer of Chinese lantern festivals, will make its IAAPA Expo debut this November. The company will showcase its comprehensive model for transforming destinations into immersive nighttime experiences that drive attendance and revenue while bridging Eastern and Western cultures.
At Booth W1679 (Nov. 17-20), Tianyu will present its turnkey services—from creative development and handcrafted production to logistics, installation, and event operations.
At IAAPA 2026, Tianyu will transform its booth (W1679) into an immersive “Pea Fairy” wonderland. This 20'x20' installation showcases our ability to create captivating, photogenic environments, featuring a handcrafted, illuminated fairy portal, interactive character displays, and lush floral landscapes. Designed as a fully realized theatrical set, the booth offers a firsthand look at how our lantern art integrates storytelling with modern event infrastructure to drive guest engagement.
Since 2014, Tianyu has delivered over 200 exhibitions across 60+ cities, welcoming 14 million visitors. Following a record 2025—producing 44 events across 42 cities—the company enters IAAPA as a proven industry leader. Many of these installations have evolved into beloved local traditions, including the 10-year partnership with the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival, the 9-year collaboration with Historic Philadelphia for the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival, and long-standing events with Milwaukee Parks (China Lights Wisconsin) and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo (Asian Lantern Festival).
Rooted in the 1,000-year lantern-making heritage of Zigong, China, Tianyu’s work is defined by skilled artisans who weld steel frameworks, hand-stretch fabric, and paint intricate details. This traditional artistry is enhanced by modern technology, including programmed LED lighting, mechanical animation, and interactive elements, creating large-scale attractions for modern audiences.
“IAAPA Expo is an opportunity to show that Tianyu offers a fusion of generations of artistry and proven U.S. operations,” said Huiyuan Liu, Regional Event Manager. “We create attractions that honor their cultural origins while reflecting the specific mission and community of each partner.”
Tianyu manages every project phase, from site planning to maintenance. This model delivers measurable results: in 2025, the North Carolina festival generated $11.66 million in economic impact, while Seattle’s WildLanterns raised $2.7 million for conservation. These attractions create diverse revenue streams through F&B, merchandise, and sponsorships.
Founded in 1997, Tianyu’s combination of authentic craftsmanship and infrastructure allows it to share this centuries-old tradition with new audiences on a grand scale.
