ORLANDO, Fla. — IAAPA Expo 2026 — Gig Game is bringing its interactive AI-hosted gaming technology to IAAPA Expo 2026 — and this year, its AI host is getting a body.
Meet Reggie the Alien, an interactive animatronic character who will host a special IAAPA edition of Gig Game Trivia Night at Booth W2286.
Gig Game creates interactive audience experiences where AI hosts speak directly to players, present game content, react to the audience and help guide the experience from beginning to end.
At IAAPA Expo, attendees can scan a QR code, instantly join from their phones and compete in an IAAPA-themed Trivia Night while Reggie presents questions, talks to players and reacts to the crowd.
No app. No special equipment. Scan. Join. Play.
Reggie is being brought to life through a collaboration between Gig Game and Steve Axtell of Axtell Expressions, combining Axtell’s physical character technology with Gig Game’s interactive AI-hosted entertainment platform.
According to Reggie’s backstory, he crash-landed on Earth and became fascinated with humans, robots, rides, flashing buttons, machines and anything that spins, twirls or makes strange noises.
Naturally, IAAPA caught his attention.
Reggie will explore the Expo, learn about the attractions industry and turn what he discovers into trivia for attendees.
Visitors to Booth W2286 can meet Reggie, play Trivia Night, see an AI-powered animatronic host in action and experience how AI, audience participation, mobile gaming and physical characters can work together.
Gig Game has already given its AI hosts a voice.
At IAAPA Expo 2026, it’s giving one a face.
